REVIEWS

Jeff H

Hardcore 100 is a unique fat bike riding experience where riders are immersed in an amazing Northern Saskatchewan landscape staged out of the comfort of Thompson Resort in the scenic little community of Missinipe.  It is super cool to be able to ride winter trails into locations like Barker Island and Nistowiak Falls, where most people only ever get to experience in the summer by canoe or boat.  Cycling across frozen lakes under blue bird skies in the warmth of the March sunshine is second only to the thrill of riding the narrow portage trails that link the lakes together. Riding portions of the Canadian Dogsled Challenge course and riding in to witness the incredible beauty of Nistowiak Falls in the winter provide memories of that lifetime.  Riding in the Missinipe area should be on every fatbiker bucket list - doing it as part of the Hardcore 100 provides a shared experience with like-minded folks that is certain to end in new friendships and a strong desire to come back again the following year.  Cheers to Adventure Destinations International for bringing this experience to those adventurous souls looking to discover our great white North by bike.
